WE ARE (ALMOST) BACK!

Last session for the year! (And there was cake.. thanks Pat! 😋) back into it on Thursday. Happy new year everyone!!

Great work to @mattpfin, Yi Lin, Oli, Jake and Hao Chen (who is just 10 but trains in the adults class) and a strong, tough grading. 👊 💪

Strong junior grade grading. Even the first #Kyokushin grading can be brutal! 2 + hours of kihon, ido geko, ippon kumite, kata, sparring and a spirit test to finish. It’s all important, at every stage of your #kyokushin career. The first grading means so much: the first time you really understand the spirit of #osu, the moment you can’t imagine your life without #kyokushin, when you understand how beautifully both pain and triumph co-exist. A strong foundation is everything. There’s nothing easy about Kyokushin and that’s what makes it so incredibly rewarding. #karate #iko #karatelife #brisbanemartialarts #brisbanekarate #karatebrisbane #karategrading
